Our Supported Accommodation Services

  • Our solo accommodation with bespoke floating support is made up of studio, one-bedroom or two-bedroom flats/houses in the local community. All properties are self-contained and as such each has its own bathroom and kitchen facilities, as well as living and sleeping areas.

Our self-contained solo accommodation with bespoke floating support is targeted towards children and young people that have a positive understanding and can demonstrate good interdependence and independence skills. However, it is accepted that further independence, support and guidance work and monitoring is still required.

Our floating support package consists of a minimum of 15 hours a week, including additional drop in visits from Managers and/or Creative Practitioners.

There is also a 24 hour on-call service for use as and when required by the child or young person.

  • Our solo accommodation with 24 hour onsite support is made up of studio, one-bedroom or two-bedroom flats/houses in the local community. All properties are self-contained and as such each has its own bathroom and kitchen facilities, as well as living and sleeping areas. These will be part of a block of self-contained accommodation ranging from blocks of 2 up to 5.

Our self-contained solo accommodation with 24 hour onsite support has been created to provide a 'hybrid model' of Supported Accommodation for children and young people aged 16 to 17. It enables them to develop their independent living skills and experience of tenancy management, whilst also having the added benefit of 24 onsite support provided by our Creative Practitioners. There is also a 24 hour on-call service for use as and when required by the child or young person.

Accommodation and Location

Creative Living Care ensure all premises and locations are safe and will carry out internal and external health and safety checks, inclusive of locality risk assessments which monitor local crime statistics in the area. Each accommodation setting has a homely feel and is well furnished, our internal maintenance team is at hand to rectify any issues that make arise whist the young person is supported and accommodated by Creative Living Care, ensuring the premises remain safe, secure and well maintained. When selecting our accommodation settings, we ensure the location is well facilitated so our young people can access a varied range of amenities.

Whilst we can accommodate on an emergency basis, we are committed in supporting young people to the best of our ability. As such, we offer a planned transitional service that promotes engagement with and from young people, who are introduced to staff and the service prior to their move.

Young people will be assessed prior to placement to ensure it is right for them and to identify the level of support they need to enable them to make a successful transition to independent living.
