Supported Accommodation Service

At Creative Living Care, we provide high-quality, person-centred Supported Accommodation for young people aged 16 and over who are preparing to leave care and take their first steps towards independent living. Our service also offers post-18 placements, ensuring continuity of care and support for young adults who may still need a structured, nurturing environment beyond their 18th birthday.

Our Supported Accommodation provision is Ofsted registered and operates under ‘Category 1’ placements, meaning it meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and governance. We work closely with Local Authorities and partner agencies to create tailored support packages that meet each young person’s individual needs, aspirations, and goals.

Solo Accommodation (Self-Contained Flat/house) – Bespoke Floating Support.

Our Solo Accommodation with Bespoke Floating Support offers young people the opportunity to live in their own self-contained home while receiving structured, personalised support to help them move confidently towards full independence.

We provide high-quality studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom flats or houses within the local community. Each property is fully self-contained and includes its own private kitchen, bathroom, living and sleeping areas, allowing young people to experience the responsibilities and routines of independent living in a safe, supportive environment.

This type of provision is best suited to children and young people who have already developed a positive understanding of interdependence and independence, and who are ready to take the next step in their journey. However, we recognise that continued guidance, skill-building, and consistent monitoring are still essential — and our floating support model is designed to provide exactly that.

Our floating support package includes:

  • A minimum of 15 hours of structured support each week, delivered by our experienced support team

  • Flexible keywork sessions tailored to the young person’s needs, covering life skills, budgeting, cooking, education, employment, and emotional wellbeing

  • Additional drop-in visits from Managers and/or Creative Practitioners to ensure ongoing progress, safety and engagement

  • Access to a 24-hour on-call service for reassurance and emergency support, whenever it’s needed

This model offers the perfect balance of freedom and safety, empowering young people to build independence while knowing they have a strong, reliable safety net around them.

Solo Accommodation (Self-Contained Flat/House) – 24-Hour Onsite Support

Our Solo Accommodation with 24-Hour Onsite Support provides young people with the opportunity to live in their own self-contained home while benefiting from the reassurance of round-the-clock support.

These placements are based within small community settings, consisting of studio, one-bedroom or two-bedroom self-contained flats/houses arranged in blocks of 2 to 5 units. Each property includes its own private kitchen, bathroom, living and sleeping areas, giving young people the chance to experience genuine independence within a safe and structured environment.

This provision has been purposefully designed as a ‘hybrid model’ of Supported Accommodation for young people aged 16 to 17 who are working towards independence but still require a higher level of daily guidance, structure, and emotional support.

Our experienced Creative Practitioners are onsite 24/7, providing consistent care, supervision, and practical assistance as needed — while also encouraging the development of key life skills such as budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and tenancy management.

In addition to the onsite support, all young people also have access to our 24-hour on-call service for reassurance and emergency assistance whenever it is required.

This model offers the best of both worlds — the independence of living alone, combined with the safety, structure, and stability of a supportive staff presence at all times.

Accommodation and Location

Creative Living Care ensure all premises and locations are safe and will carry out internal and external health and safety checks, inclusive of locality risk assessments which monitor local crime statistics in the area. Each accommodation setting has a homely feel and is well furnished, our internal maintenance team is at hand to rectify any issues that make arise whist the young person is supported and accommodated by Creative Living Care, ensuring the premises remain safe, secure and well maintained. When selecting our accommodation settings, we ensure the location is well facilitated so our young people can access a varied range of amenities.

Whilst we can accommodate on an emergency basis, we are committed in supporting young people to the best of our ability. As such, we offer a planned transitional service that promotes engagement with and from young people, who are introduced to staff and the service prior to their move.

Young people will be assessed prior to placement to ensure it is right for them and to identify the level of support they need to enable them to make a successful transition to independent living.
